Media planning and placement, start to finish — the channels, the negotiation, the optimization, and the reporting that tells you whether it actually worked.
What we buy.
Being a buying desk means the whole job is reach, frequency and price — where your message runs, how often the right people see it, and what it costs to get there. It starts with inventory.
Connected TV and streaming. Addressable cable, broadcast and cable spot. Online video and YouTube. Radio and streaming audio. Programmatic display and native. Paid social. Out of home. Print, where it still reaches the people you need.
We buy direct, programmatic guaranteed, and through private marketplaces, and we hold relationships with the publishers and supply partners who take political seriously. That is how we reach inventory that never hits the open market, at rates that hold up when everyone else is bidding. Some campaigns need all of it. Most don’t. We will tell you which.
Who we work with.
Candidate campaigns at every level of government, from school board elections to state legislative races to Members of Congress, Governors and Presidents. 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) advocacy organizations. Labor unions and their political programs. Independent expenditures and PACs. Ballot measure campaigns.
And agencies. A good share of our work runs through creative and strategy shops that want a buying desk which will never compete with them for the relationship. We don’t make creative. We don’t pitch strategy retainers. We don’t go around you.
How a buy comes together.
We start from the people you need to move, not the channels we happen to like. Audiences get built from the voter file and from research — list-matching, demographic and psychographic segmentation, and modeling against the behavior that actually matters. On a 2024 Michigan program that meant finding the roughly three percent of the state who turn out in presidential years but don’t finish the ballot.
Campaigns move once they are live. Budgets land late, creative lands later, a channel underdelivers. We adjust in flight and tell you plainly when something is not working — including the times when the right answer is to stop spending. Then we report reach and frequency against your actual target universe rather than impressions and click-through rates, and we build real measurement in when the program can support it: brand lift studies, held-out control groups, pre- and post-flight surveys.
Investing in our values.
You and your clients are doing the work of building a fairer and more inclusive country. How the money gets spent should reflect that.
Every media mix we recommend carries deliberate investment with women-, BIPOC- and LGBTQ+-owned publishers. It is how we think campaigns should be run. It also consistently reaches audiences that default inventory quietly misses.
Investing in our team.
Media buying is a craft, and the people who get good at it are the ones who stay long enough to learn it.
We keep our pay and bonus structure transparent. Full health benefits, retirement, a home office benefit, ongoing training, and time off that people are expected to actually take. The team is remote, and we bring everyone together in person several times a year.
That matters to you because the person who built your plan in March is still here in October.
